Lots of fun and an introduction to God’s Word for preschoolers, Cubbies encourages these little ones to begin to make scripture a part of their lives through parent-child activities.
Sparks: Grade K to 2
A time of friendship building and the gospel message, Sparks teaches children about Jesus through games and introduces small peer-group interaction.
T&T – Grade 3 to 6
T&T (standing for “Truth and Training”) leads kids into a deeper relationship with God and teaches them to reach out to others through mission projects. We support a club in Ukraine through the Awana Adopt-a-Club program. On the first Tuesday of each month, the children are encouraged to bring a missionary offering to help support this project.
- Grand Prix car races and Regatta boat races
- Winterfest takes place in January at the Harrison Park Community Centre. Tobogganing, ice skating, snow football and the warmth of the fireplace are enjoyed along with great fellowship and lunch.
- May Awards Night where the boys and girls are rewarded for all their hard work over the year.
We are blessed with the faithful help of our leaders. Please continue to pray for this important program and if you would like to help as a leader, please contact Tim Chambers.
We also offer after-school discipleship with Pastor Chad on the first and third Wednesdays of the month, monthly service nights where we go out and serve together in the community, and monthly Friday night fun nights.

This South End ladies’ group meets once a month. Our times together include learning from God’s Word, hearing about interesting practical topics, and having a chance to unwind and visit with one another over coffee and snacks. Women of all ages are invited, and a nursery will be provided for those who need it.
We meet every other Thursday at 7:00 pm for a wonderful time of fellowship as we work on different projects to bless our community. Our meetings begin with a devotional followed by prayer. Some of our activities have include: assembling emergency toiletry bags; collecting used clothing; making lap robes; and crocheting afghans, receiving blankets and baby toques. These items are delivered to local hospitals, pregnancy centres, women’s crisis centre, and nursing homes. Tuck shop items are donated for local camps and the Cornerstone Youth Drop-In Centre. God provides workers with a wide range of talents. Would YOU consider joining our group that blesses and is blessed?
If you have musical abilities or technical abilities for the sound system or computer worship system, we’d love to have you join our team! Currently, practices are at 9:00am on Sunday mornings. Contact Tim Chambers or Fiona Evison for more information.
Summit Place Hymn Sing
Join us on the 4th Monday of the month for an hour at 2pm as we sing old-time favourites with the residents of this local nursing home. Please call the church for more details.
A weekly prayer meeting is held at the church each Wednesday morning from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Prayer is the foundation of what we do at South End.
